The Letter Office
A Type Foundry's Front Door
A type foundry's front door: releases like Pomelo and Neue Harbour presented as live specimens, weight sliders, collection counts and try-for-free buttons — the full storefront pattern of a working foundry, rebuilt end to end.
It exists as a study of the hardest kind of shop: one where the product is the typography itself. A foundry site can't lean on photography — the letters must do the selling — so every headline is simultaneously copy and demonstration.
What to take from it: when the product is the medium, the site is the demo. Set everything in the goods themselves and let scale, weight and cut carry the persuasion that photography would normally do.
