The Font Library
Type, Tested in Production
A working type library of eighty-five faces across six registers — minimal grotesques, artsy serifs, bold display, techy mono, a genuinely wild shelf, and a dated register of what's trending right now. Every specimen is the real font rendering live on the page, not a picture of it, with a download button and a kit to shortlist into.
It exists because font aggregators show you everything and tell you nothing. This library is curated the hard way: faces that have shipped in real client work, faces that earned a place by being genuinely out there, and a trending shelf that admits it will go stale and plans to be refreshed.
What to take from it: a reference tool earns trust by being the thing it describes. The specimens are the actual font files; the registers are colour-coded so a hand can find 'the wild shelf' without reading; and the one register that dates itself says so on the label.
