Structured Water on Trial
The Evidence, Tested
An evidence audit of structured water: the claim that devices or vortexes rearrange water into a hexagonal form that hydrates better. It sets out Gerald Pollack's exclusion-zone research, Masaru Emoto's ice crystals, the product claims and the real physics of hydrogen bonds, with live 3D water molecules.
It exists because the topic is sold with real-sounding science. Some of that science is real — water does behave strangely at surfaces — but it is stretched far past what was measured.
What to take from it: hydrogen-bond networks rearrange in about a trillionth of a second, and no controlled human trial has shown a health benefit. Real effects at surfaces are not proof that a jug can 'structure' your drink.
