The Canon Library

The Trueform Vault, Indexed

Wing Ⅳ · Business & Systems — 21 July 2026

A map of a research library, not the library itself: fifty canons — design, film, writing, business, science, philosophy — each reduced to what it is, what it holds, and how to call it up. Six wings organise the shelf; a live count keeps the whole thing honest about its own size.

It exists because a library nobody can navigate isn't a library, it's a pile. The point isn't owning fifty bodies of knowledge, it's being able to find and use the right one in the time it takes to type a name.

What to take from it: a growing reference system needs its own front door. If the only way in is remembering everything you've filed, you haven't built a library — you've built a warehouse.
